Dr Chai Kah-Hin is associate professor at the Industrial Systems Engineering and Management (ISEM) Department, National University of Singapore (NUS). At ISEM he oversees five MSc programs, in particular the Management of Technology and Intellectual Property Management MSc programs. He received his PhD degree (2000) from Cambridge University in the area of international manufacturing. He has a Master Degree in Manufacturing Management from University of South Australia, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology Malaysia. His work experience includes management consulting and semiconductor manufacturing in Singapore and Malaysia. His work appears in journals such as Journal of Product Innovation Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Service Research, European Journal of Operational Research and International Journal of Service Industry Management. Dr. Chai is an editorial board member for several international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and Journal of Service Management. His current research interests include industrial energy efficiency, new product/service development and knowledge management.
